Breakfast consumed and I’m not going outside yet. There’s a kangaroo and her Joey just outside the window eating soft grass under one of the Grevillea plants, so I don’t want to shoo them away. They watched me through the window while I ate.😳😃

weather wise, the same as yesterday, cold and smrrr, as Fairy would say. Not enough to register in the rain gauge, but at least it isn’t baking hot drying weather.  The plants might start to recover from the last year’s drought. 🙄

    Morning all.

The donkey was braying under my window, but I need to be up early as the man is coming to dig a trench for the loo pipe. They put the big waste pipe to the septic tank in the garage, in the bit which will be the study and it should be outside.

The electrician yesterday wasn't impressed by the wiring in the garage, he said the wrong cables had been used. He has re-wired all the future study and utility room. I hope the rest of the house is OK. The previous owner, his friend who was a stone mason and his father in law who was an electrician built the garage, which is in stone to match the house.

  • Morning @Busy-Lizzie, hopefully you're early alarm will be moving home soon. I do find every workman seems to criticise the previous workman's efforts.  :/ However, your project seems to be moving on well.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Perhaps a donkey braying under the window is needed to rouse my coffee maker ... 😴 😉

    Morning all,  evening @Pat E
    First coffee ☕
Just read back,  attempting recovery of memory.
Sorry to hear of the jab disappointment @D0rdogne_Damsel, hope it gets sorted soon.
Glad lovely OH had his booked @Dovefromabove
    Lovely looking veg area @Yviestevie!
@Allotmentboy, hope you cleared all the slugs from the greenhouse! I had an early night last night and did last patrol at 9.40pm 3 snails,  1 whopper! And 5 little slugs moved next door! 😉
Really need to fix that roof panel!
Is it tomorrow that gardeners world is back? Wondering if its really going to be an hour long from the start like that article said! 🤔

    Hi all

Even greyer today, I want sun.
Moiras contract is supposed to end this month, but with the total chaos that surrounds all things BREXIT, they are wanting her to stay. Why then are they offering her less money?

That sounds good @Busy-Lizzie .... Bressingham is halfway between @WonkyWomble and us, and in normal times it’s a great place to meet up ... I love Foggy Bottom ... and then there’s ice creams and the Gallopers too! 😎

Oh lovely 😍thank you @Busy-Lizzie! Did you see the article from the new York Times I put on the gardeners world thread? Lovely article.  It was where I heard the hour long episode rumours!

I've been to Bressingham lots of times too! We did a forum visit there once as well.  Beautiful garden! Although I think East Ruston is my favourite,  even over Beth Chatto! Controversial I know!
Morning @Dovefromabove 😄 love the gallopers!!
Morning @punkdoc, I want 🌞 too!!! Germination is slow in the cold!!!
