Just heard from brother womble,  he's to have some food and drink and have the doctor come see him then I'm allowed to go get him.
Sounds like good news - hope he recovers well

He’s in the Nuffield and they’ve only got NHS funding for day cases. He’ll be discharged this evening.

Gosh that's quick after a 4 hour op! But he will sleep better in a proper bed, especially if his sister is looking after him.

Here is another vomiting emoji for you @Hostafan1   I think it can be copied and pasted.  :)

The builders have gone, coming back to do the ceilings on Monday. It's all having insulated plasterboard. The study now has walls and a door.

He is home!  Wonky is feeding him yoghurt.
Apparently it took two surgeons ... one going in through his ear canal and the other through a hole behind his ear 🤯
    sorry if that’s TMI 😉

  • What a wonderful bunch you are! Without my daily dip into Forkers, and other threads, my last 18 months would have been as black a dog as my Labrador Buster. 2020; Mum died suddenly before me, was Furloughed, made redundant and had to go through the stress of applying for jobs/interviews after 17 years of loyal employment. Partner Des struggling with mental health but greatly helped by me being at home ...now making bespoke garden furniture/raised beds/planters.

Thank you lot for making me feel like I'm in a family,  not the orphan I now am! Fillet steak and Dauphinouse potatoes to celebrate tonight x

    Evening folks.

Brilliant news @sam bevington - cheers to you. The forum is a little family isn’t it 😊

Glad he is home and receiving expert nursing care @Dovefromabove @WonkyWomble.

I hope everyone is ok and not too wind-swept.

@sam bevingtonwhat I lovely message! We are a family! We chose to be here and it's not forced so it's genuine! We are collectively very happy to be here for each other!
Enjoy your delicious celebration dinner! You have earned it!
@AuntyRach brother womble has strawberry and chocolate brownie milkshake,  cookies and cream ice cream,  macaroni cheese,  white chocolate buttons,  chocolate chip cookies and a sister on standby! 😇😉 I hope you have been having a nice week off,  sorry we couldn't fix the weather!!
