  • I believe you can travel for food @Obelixx, you'll just need to have an attestation. Have you rung your own doctor directly, that's what I did, he had spare vaccine because no-one wanted it.... 😱

Yes, and said I was happy to have A-Z but now call.   OH has a link to the Luçon vaccination centre and can do it on his PC or Smart phone which is why he's IC jab dates.

  • Lovely day again, biting my lip as I trawled through my on line induction as the temperature rose and the sunshine caressed the garden. Stepped out for lunch to see a pair of Kites soaring over our plot. Treats then arrived in the afternoon; 40 aqualegias, 40 Cosmos, 40 phlox, 40 Portulaca Sunseekers (I love these, such pretty  dainty annuals), 42 Argryanthemum Grandaisy Pink Halo and 5 Double Violet Ice Osteospermums. Goodness me  when will I have time to fit work in! It's a good job it's the Easter weekend with the added bonus of the University giving us Tuesday off as well 😀 😄 😎

Both main SMs are under 4 kms away. I wonder if DIY places and GCs will stay open? But my main bother is that Son 1 and family were going to come to see me and my new house in the Easter holidays but now it looks as though that won't be possible. They live 5 hours drive away.

That's a bummer @Busy-Lizzie.  Maybe Ascension weekend or Whitsun?

Not sure about DIY's but GCs have been open for the sale of edible plants, related materials and animal feeds since half way thru the first lockdown a year ago.   OH and I will raid or local DIY on Friday am as I need cement for the Cave and we need posts for the blackberry support wires in the potager.

Really feel for you @D0rdogne_Damsel @Busy-Lizzie @Obelixx and others - lockdowns are daunting when they first start and you have no sense of when they will end.  Hope you will be helped by plenty of good weather, so that you can enjoy your gardening 🧑🏻‍🌾.

Its my first day back volunteering tomorrow - my bag is all packed with my own tools, sanitiser and a facemask (just in case I’m working in one of the glass houses).  I’m very excited 😛.  Time to try and get a good nights sleep 😴

We’ve woken to another foggy day, but that usually means it will be a lovely day.
Im off to Canberra in an hour, so I suppose the next time I see you it will be April Fools Day! 😁😁

    Have a good sleep all.
