He'll be whoozy a good while after such a long op @Dovefromabove. I do so hope it's gone well and that he's got the sense to take it easy and recover properly.
I agree @Hostafan1. Taking blood, like changing brake pads and tyres, is a job for the professionals.
I've been down to see the chooks, suitably rugged up against that naughty wind and they are in fine form. 6 eggs again but there's always one that is paler and rougher than the others which are smooth shelled and a rich, nutty brown. Checked my new pottings and cuttings in the PT and, so far so good, no hen-pecking past my barriers.
Indoors for me now but am feeling weary and can't get motivated to get on with anything productive.

I hope not. Hospitals are not restful places so i dare say he'd sleep better at home but I'd have thought they'd need to check his vitals and the wound and dressing at least once before sending him home.

Congratulations @sam bevington 🍾 Just heard from brother womble, he's to have some food and drink and have the doctor come see him then I'm allowed to go get him. I've been doing his job this week and shall do tomorrow also and he will have the weekend to take it easy with his doting sister waiting on him, thanks everyone for best wishes 🙂

Will he be in hospital long?
I'm certainly NOT cut out to be a phlebotomist.
