My thoughts are the same Astraeus, gone off Monty this last two years.  His programs are an awful lot of not a lot at all.  No substance to them.

I don't like cats either, but you're right.

My gut feeling is there lining up Adam to replace Monty shortly

Really enjoying Carol Klein on Ch 5. Very informative and feels more like 'proper basic gardening' which is just what I like. I do enjoy watching  MD as well but so far I am enjoying Carol's down to earth approach a bit more. Best of both worlds I suppose.

Loved the programme but those Auriculae wouldn't last 5 minutes with the wind here unless they were against a wall. (I typed Auriculas but was corrected by spell checker😉😉)

  • When I go into My5 I can see two seasons of this, each with only 2 episodes, seems strange? Is it right?

The first run had only two episodes. The second run has 4, of which the 4th is being broadcast tonight. I can see episodes 1 to 3 in My5 online.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Makes sense based on the timing of my check on My5

At the end of tonight's programme, they said the next episode was on next Thursday so I'm a bit confused.

I enjoyed tonight's session although every time I wonder at Carol's gardening attire. She must have cupboards full of jackets.

I watched tonight and enjoyed it but there was no information on Nerines which was why I particularly watched it. I do enjoy it.
Have nerines figured in a previous episode?
