Striking colours and interesting plants there @bullfinch
Front garden which I replanted over winter adding extra bulbs. Camassia leichtlinii alba, Allium Purple Sensation and some False Purple Sensation (a mis-pick from the bulb-monger, I don't know what they are)
Pinks and purples in the back garden
Oriental Poppies doing well this year, they must have appreciated the wet spring

You are right this is after all the garden gallery, I guess most aren't happy with their garden like me. It's a work in progress, I have 3yr old native hedging on the left and euonymus fortunei climber at the far end. This spring I widened the borders and cut out a semi circle in the lawn and added around 60 plants and pots in this frame. It should look a bit better in a couple of years or so, meanwhile I shall enjoy watching them grow, I really like how the Star of Persia Allium is blooming, its fascinating.
I've just been catching up here, it's better than binge eating a box of chocolates! So many photos of beautiful plants and gardens.
My garden is very young as I only moved here in January, leaving behind my big, beautiful garden of 30 years. Both houses in Dordogne. Here was a blank canvas, large grassed area with some trees. The round bed will have roses but I sowed pink escholtzias this summer, not yet flowering. The first photo is the new shrub bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I've had a bit of a change of heart about the geums. They're still tall and ungainly but I've grown rather fond of them.
I missed out on the iris sharing but I can at least join in with the peonies.
Oh and here’s Mortimer Sackler getting in his stride
