My first dahlia shoots are coming up (still covered and fleeced the moment, but I had a peek). We're still getting -2oC in London, but I will uncover in a week or so. They are all white when uncovered but green up quickly.

My first rose bud of the year that's not far off flowering. (Etoile). It's the first year of proper flowering for this plant, over an arch.
Daphne! She was very poorly last year - epsom salts and regular watering seems to have cured it. Leaves still ever so slightly yellow so will do another feed soon.
The scent whenever I open the door is amazing - lovely hyacinths in the foreground and rhododendron Christmas Cheer still cheering in the background!
Muscari and euphorbia. I hope the muscari will stay put.
This viola have been in flower since November, when I’ve planted the hanging basket. Hardly watered and barely any deadheading. No other violas looked so good throughout the winter. I need to look for the label, but I’m sure there’s a banana in the name...
Tulip ‘Dream Touch’
Narcissus ‘Exotic Mystery’
Heucherella ‘Hopscotch’, Narcissus ‘Eaton Song’ and ‘Geranium’
Amelanchier. Not very floriferous, but lovely leaves.
Lots of things in bud (Erythronium and Tulipa sylvestris), unfortunately I have to go away for a week and might miss seeing them opening up for the first time. Although that tulip looks ready to pop.
Incidentally I accidentally cut off a new shoot from a Lilium speciosum bulb this morning, do you reckon it will re-shoot?
