Afternoon all,Β  Too late for white abbits etc.Β  Happy Birthday Ruby.Β  Re Heucheras, I was told, by the guy from Heucherholics at one of the garden shows, that they are like humans.Β  The darker they are the more sun they can tolerate, the paler the more shade they like.Β  It's always worked for me.Β
I've been out, even though it's flippin cold here, and planted my new rose Eustacia Vye. I've also sprayed all the roses with sulphur (it's natural and doesn't bother any insects etc).Β  It's supposed to help with blackspot which was a real nuisance last year.Β  Hoping it's better this year after the cold winter made most of the roses lose their leaves.Β  Wanted to do more but I was too cold.Β  Might pop to Ashwoods in a bit to look for some plants for the tree trunk planter that was moved and cleaned out yesterday.
    Have a good day everyone.

That is stunning Hazel. There is still time for it to recover. Its still got frost etc. to put up with so I wouldn't give up on it just yet.

That's beautiful @Songbird-1 what is the dark leaf plant next to it, love the colour and the shape of the leaves.
I always have mine in semi shade and they grow well.Β  Give it awhile, I'm sure it will perk up Hazel.Β

Oops hello LB , you weren't there just now.πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ
I've been weeding in this gorgeous sunshine and cut part the grass at the back. Still tooΒ wet down the bottom, where the grass is longer.
Really lovely out there, we even had a cup ofΒ tea in the sunshine. Makes you feel so much better.
Garden bin being collected tomorrow, so haveΒ filled that almost with grass cuttings, rakedΒ Β up leaves etc.
Time for another cup of tea β˜•β˜•
