This is 90% RTBC and a little bit of Curmudgeon - all sorted and ready to collect some of my compost to help all the lovely planting today and there is a bee nest underneath the bin. They made their feelings about me jiggling the bin very clear.

My RTBC is also a bit of curmudgeonly moment too. Found a hedgehog "nest" which is just too divine, however it's less than 2 feet from the front of the bed next to the drive so it's a bit " in the way "
Sometimes @Hostafan1 you just have to suck it up, I am now saving tea leaves and letting the wildlife do it's stuff, luckily I have another bin. Maybe you could put a wee picket fence around the Tiggy-winkle home?

Still all clear on the Tiggy-winkle front @Hostafan1 ? I have started another bin as the bees are going nowhere, feasting on the compost Comfrey plant!

It was my neice's 11th wedding anniversary yesterday and her husband was recounting the story of their first meeting, a story I had long forgotten.
They met in a local nightclub at a time when my neice was far to vain to wear glasses when she went clubbing. She was also very short sighted. Apparently she had a very good night, and very little memory of it the following day. Her phone rang and the person on the other end asked if it would be OK for him to call round. My neice was intrigued as she couldn't remember what he looked like. She told her mum to answer the door with instructions that "If he's weird looking, tell him he's got the wrong address".

Spikey nest is empty, so I'm guessing it was a daytime snoozey place , not a baby nest.
