I bet Andrew is sweating now!

During his infamous interview he claimed that he never sweats.

There'll probably be some 'men in black' already poised to stop any evidence coming to light. Can't have the monarchy shown in a bad light can we?  >:)

It's not showing the monarchy in a bad light.  It's showing one member of the family who has always (apart from his military service) seemed to be believe that he was entitled to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, without negative consequences.

There’s still nothing cheerful about child abuse … someone has done the right thing … that is undoubtedly good, but there’s nothing cheery about any of it.
I'm cheerful that a guilty party has been found guilty and will spend a long time in jail, despite their wealth, "power" army of lawers etc.
Hopefully others in the same position will realise they'll be hunted, and punished if found guilty.

  • It's taken me a long time to realise that Seedaholics is an Irish company... I've been in mourning since Br***t made it impossible to order from Chiltern's Seeds any more, but there's quite a good range available from Seedaholics, and they're not particularly expensive either.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I love Worzel Gummidge Dove!  Such a charming, gentle programme.

I saw it this week. Laugh out loud funny. I was particularly fond of the scarecrow in charge of creating "a sense of foreboding" ahead of a storm. The Beeb did a fine job of corralling six slightly alarmed choughs.

We’ve got the series recorded for times when we need gentle whimsy.

By the way … I see that The Detectorists series is being shown in the wee small hours (New Years Day morning?)  soon if anyone wants to record it.
    BBC 4 I think.

I've used them several times @Liriodendron - they're very good. Get ordering  ;)

My RTBC a couple of days ago was, when I was out for my walk, I used the footpath across the nearby golf course - something I do quite often. There's a tiny burn - which is a tributary of either our main river here, the White Cart, or the smaller Earn Water, which runs alongside it. I noticed a bird flying low,  along the top of it, and just thought it was a blackbird, but there was a white flash on the body. It flew back towards me, having picked something out of the water, and I realised then it was a dipper. Gorgeous little birds, and despite the amount of burns and streams all over the area, it's the first time I've seen one so local.  :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lucky you @Fairygirl … the only place I’ve seen them is on Dartmoor a long while ago. 😊

I did get a good photo when I was in the Pentlands a few years ago, doing that charity walk.  They're quite common there.
    Lovely wee things  :)
