    Good morning everyone.
Apologies for my little outburst about Trump last night but I was so angry I thought I’d explode. I really do think he’s a most dangerous, unpleasant and unstable character but I’m sorry I let him contamminate our chat.

LB - Think I need to take the Dr's advice - I have an unfinished bottle of gin in the cupboard😁

Today is another grey but dry day but the frost is too thick to contemplate gardening. Might cut out material for summer curtains for the sitting room. Seem to have done more sewing in the last 9 months than I did in the previous 9 years...
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

I remember years ago, during thick snow and blizzards, the bus coming to a halt after travelling a short distance and having to walk all the way to the railway station early in the morning in darkness but, others from the bus were thankfully there.  At the end of the day I had to walk all the way home, 6 miles, which took a long time in thick snow but, again, thankfully, I wasn’t on my own.  I was very thankful to be home and put the heating on and warm up.  Hazel a touching story of you both being put up by the farmer and his wife.  Chive have a good day with the little people.  It’s good you have a bubble.   Ante enjoy your day off there’s frost this morning.  The roofs look lovely.  LB shameful behaviour in America.  No surprises who stirred that up.

    Morning all,  LOL @Ladybird4
The scenes from Washington were discraceful.  Every senator that supported Trump in recent weeks should be ashamed of themselves.  I can't believe how long it took the authorities to intervene and I can't help feeling if that had been a black demonstration things would have moved a damned sight quicker. 😡GRRRR.
It's very foggy and frosty outside and I have just dashed out to fill up bird feeders, I could almost feel the sigh of relief from the robin that was watching me.
Yesterday I decided to check out Sarah Raven website as I received a £10 voucher from the company (have no idea why).  It led to a disgraceful spending spree where I pre ordered Dahlias and plug plants from 3 different companies  I think I will have to make my confession on the Why Can't I Stop Buying Plants thread.
    Stay safe and warm everyone.

No apology needed T'Bird. Yes, you had better finish the gin to get your inner peace! I have made my front windows transparent again - only on the inside I hasten to add - and it is now snowing out there. Yes, SGL, another great WhatsApp message. I thought it might bring a smile to everyone who hasn't seen it.
Going to run the Noo Noo round the living room now, but it is nearly time for elevenses. Might leave Noo Noo alone for a bit. Kettle calling.
