LB I’ve been pottering and awarded myself a small Baileys which always brings a smile to my face.  Topbird I’ve starting cooking bacon in a large glass dish.  It goes crispy but not overly dry.  Lovely in ciabatta with mushrooms cooked in butter.  Biglad you were lucky to get such a quiet day there.  The Robin is my favourite bird.  Chive I do my flat things before the weekend.  It’s not too bad once you get started :(

Oh - now I've got a problem. Can I justify two bacon sarnies in one day?

'course I can. I'll be round soon Rosie - bacon and mushrooms (especially the big flat field ones) is one of my favourite combos. And I love ciabatta and if you're throwing in a Baileys as well... Bit early for me but what the heck - it's the weekend😁

@biglad - are you reffing the David & Goliath match tomorrow?😉 Wouldn't it be fab if they won? Loved the pics with the numbers on the fence so you know which door to knock on if the ball goes into someone's garden. Not sure I'd be happy if I had a greenhouse though!

Freezing fog is back and now thicker than yesterday.

I have reffed at Marine @topbird but they've brought a proper one in for tomorrow ;)

I'd never buy a house right next to a football ground for a number of reasons and balls landing on my property would be one of them!

    Afternoon all!
It's dark and cold but still no snow. Lazy day here, I'm browsing thru my seeds collection and what is offering on internet. Can't wait to start.
Ladies, your sandwiches sounds delicious. I'll make potato skins with bacon and cheese.

Oh my. All this food talk has got me salivating. I have just finished bringing in the wet cloth things. Wet as they were when I put them all out. All they got was an airing then. Biglad, glad you got all your jobs done but you obviously didn't negotiate a big enough fee for the robin to sit and pose for you. I see that the Chorley minnows did it again.
T'Bird, regarding the bacon question, its a no brainer! I feel for you with another day of fog. I'm hoping tomorrow will be as nice as today as I would love to get into the garden for a bit of tidying up.
