Morning everyone .Morning LB,love the pic. Ante ,enjoy your day .I used to enjoy walking our dogs in the snow .I only have cats now, doubt that they would be happy walking in the snow.🙂
  • Morning all

I did have a treat last night after my run. I do like a few biscuits dunked in my cup of tea so that is what I had 😁

Chive, I saw that on the news last night about the sonic boom. Very unusual for that to happen over land. On Monday night, we had a loud aeroplane noise which came and went for around 2 hours. I was flowing it on the radar tracker, it was circling but covering a rather large area. That is why the noise came and went. Turns out it was one of the  mid air fueling planes and they were on exercise. It was over us as the weather was bad over the sea. We do see a lot of military planes coming over us.

Weather is dry with a scattering of light cloud. I expect it will be cold out so I will be getting wrapped up when I go to work.

Have a good day all 😁

Good morning Biglad, Ruby and PurpleRose. Biglad, I would have been tempted to let the answer machine kick in at that time of night. Ridiculous that they actually rang at that time. What the heck are they doing working so late? Ruby, I have a wee picture of Lily's signature in the snow last week
PurpleRose, biscuit dunking is just so comforting in the winter - as long as the end doesn't break off and drop into the tea! I really miss hearing all the aircraft noise having lived with it all my early years. I still have to dash out of the house into the garden when I hear either helicopters or light aircraft going over. Later on in the year when the weather is better and Covid restrictions allow I look forward to lots of hot air balloons and microlights going over.

Not really working @Ladybird4 - was trying to sort out a payroll issue as they'd done something wrong. I'm guessing it was finish work, have something to eat, watch a bit of TV, decide to ring Biglad! Whereas it was definitely working at my end :o Nothing that couldn't have waited until this morning or been done via e-mail though :(

  • Morning everyone,
It's taken me ages to get on here today. Kept saying site had crashed 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Very damp and grey day. Wish the snow would arrive, at least it would look pretty for awhile.
Agree LB, dunking biscuits is lovely until they drop in the tea 😣
Thank you for the quiz answers.
Wednesday again already, the days are going far too fast.
Have a lovely day everyone, take care and stay safe.

Morning SGL and Hazel. SGL, have you tried rebooting your router? Sometimes that can work. Oh Hazel, I was so saddened by your note about your daughter's dog. That is the drawback about having a pet who becomes a big part of the family. Whatever happens, I know that you will be there for her.

I got my first charity bag of the year yesterday and prompted by Ruby's post yesterday about clearing out, I set to and went through my wardrobes like a whirling dervish. Result is 3 bags of clothes and shoes ready for the pick up tomorrow. Smug face here. Enjoying elevenses and then I'll plant up my lilies.

Biglad Hope the out of hours calls stop,
SGL It’s a nuisance when you can’t get online, can’t even give it a thump to help 😖
LB I like Lily’s 🐾 in the snow, well done on your clothes clearing. Thank you for the quiz I will have a try later,

Morning all,  Woke up with a horrible headache this morning so I've popped a couple of pills and had a nice cuppa, hope it will eventually disappear.
Always nice to have a clear out @Ladybird4
Sorry to hear about your daughter's dog @Songbird-1 it's horrible to lose a pet.
Gabriel now has chickenpox so I'll be looking after him tomorrow and Friday so Secondborn can get to work. Jonah has gone back to school so I'll be doing the drop off and pick up with a poorly companion, hopefully he wont be too bad.
More seeds arrived this morning.  I think I have all I need now.
It's very wet and miserable outside today so I wont be venturing out.
    Enjoy your day folks.
