Good morning everyone who arrived later. Chin up Debs. Wrap up warm, enjoy your walk (careful there!) with your sister. We WILL get through this eventually. Think of all the positive things.
Biglad, the birds now have their own ice rink!

Morning all - another wet and grey day (no snow here). Going to make a big beef and mushroom casserole and might make a start on touching up the paintwork where the windows were replaced. We'll see...

Ante - your bird pic and video of your dog really cheered me up! (S)he really seemed to enjoy playing in the snow. Beautiful blue skies too - reminds me of our winter holidays.

Yvie - the story of Gabriel taking a mud bath made me laugh too. A shame you weren't filming it!

Does anyone know if / how it's easily possible to post a movie image I've been sent on What's App? I have a couple I think you'd all appreciate! Meanwhile....

Ante lovely pictures of the songbird, cleverly taken.  LB I hope the ice melts for you today.  The snow is still here but has stopped falling.  Wishing you all a good day.

Hello Hazel and T'Bird. Hazel, the little bird in Ante's pic is a red winged blackbird.
T'Bird, I have often wondered about posting WhatsApp videos myself. I'll have to look into that.

I am not sure if this one will work. This is a video I got through WhatsApp.

OH got me to work this morning and I managed to drive my car home from work,  ( after digging it out of the snow). The main roads were passable but the side roads were atrocious !!!  Not helped by the thick fog and idiots driving without lights on. I was very glad to be home.

Pauline - glad you're home safe and sound. MIL was supposed to go for her jab today but she was very wary about driving in 4" of snow. Think one of the grandchildren has been roped in to take her - we'll find out how it all went soon.

LB - that link did work for me thank you. I was hoping there might be some way of doing a direct placement of the video on the forum (like we do with photos and pics) rather than using a link to a third party website - but I'm not sure it's possible.
Have tried MOV files and mp4 files of different sizes but they don't seem to work😢

Thanks for your suggestion Hazel but I suspect it's to do with the file format.
