Morning all,  Nothing planned for today (I'm getting bored with saying that).  Had an enjoyable day yesterday planning out new veg beds.  I've got a few good books on growing veg in raised beds and containers so they should keep me busy today.  I always start to get itchy about getting out in the garden at this time of the year.
I've listed the playhouse on Marketplace but no takers yet.
    Stay safe everyone.

SGL, its a bit difficult to photograph the scarf as I'm having to use a circular needle because of the huge number of stitches but its coming along nicely.
Yvie, give it time. Its perhaps a little bit early in the year for people to be thinking about playhouses in the garden.

  • Aww, LB its lovely. Pretty colour combination. You've done quite a bit too considering all those stitches!
Hope you and @Yviestevie are ok  now after your falls. Hopefully not too achy or bruised.
Ruby, got distracted from clearing the kitchen drawer.....had to go down to the village to post a card. On way back I bumped into a neighbour. We chatted for over half an hour.....from a distance. Got home, had a cup of tea and.........I'll sort the drawer tomorrow 😔😉

Ante a lovely garden picture. It made me smile thinking of sunny days.  Have a good day and enjoy the cottage.  Chive an electric blanket sounds very cosy.  LB I’m glad you’re recovered after your fall. Yvie I hope you’re feeling better.  Lily I hope you enjoyed your outing.  It’s good to have a chat.  Purple Rose It’s very sunny here at the moment.  Although cold weather expected on the forecast.  a mini sm delivery is due this afternoon.  Biglad the weather looks much improved.  Hazel saying hello to you.  I hope you venture out.  I hope you all have a good day and all those in the quiet corner :) 🌝

Evening - I have done very little today - naughty, naughty, naughty. Must get on with hand hemming these wretched curtains so I can tick that job off.

Have spent a lot of time looking at hotels in Vancouver thinking about next year...

    Nice scarf LB!

    Afternoon everyone,
SGL Your walk sounded nice having a chat en route, the drawer can wait for a rainy day,
LB The scarf is lovely you’ve made good progress on it,
Rosie Yes the electric blanket is very cosy, i highly recommend it on a chilly night 🤗,
Hazel it’s so sweet that Charlie bear is 23’s constant companion what a special bond they have. I’m glad your OH’s back has improved today. School is going ok thank you,
Yvie I’m sure someone will snap up the playhouse in time, those things are usually sought after,
Topbird it’s nice to make plans for a trip next year, I think you have to do things like that,
We will be keeping the colds away tonight I’ve made a Lasagna and was a little too keen with the amount of garlic 🤭
  • Evening all

Chive I hope that you enjoyed your lasagna. It is a favourite dish in our household.

Love the colours of the scarf LB

Topbird, it's good having a look around for holidays. Something good to look forward to.

Been out for a run with Mr Purple Rose earlier. He was laughing as I whinged and moaned the whole time (I dont remember). When he told me what I moaned about, I agreed. It was very muddy, I nearly slipped by a stream (I think I would have fallen in if I had done), it was freezing cold and their was a rain shower. Once I got home though, I did feel good 🤣🤣

Evening all. I walked up to the post box today and exchanged greetings with two joggers and two ladies pushing a small person in a buggy. It was just so nice to actually communicate with someone other than on the phone. The sun was shining but there wasn't a lot of warmth in it. I've been knitting and planning the rest of today.
T'Bird, when you say 'next year' do you mean 2022? Chive, never mind keeping the colds away, you'll be quite safe from vampires too! Respect to you PurpleRose. Going for a run would fill me with dread - unless it was in a car of course.
