A new theme for Monopoly 😁

Raining here. We were forcast very heavy rain. It's just rain that we have had so far. Differences between forecasters as to whether we get snow or not - we will just have to wait and see what we get.

Past two mornings I have had to wait for my car to defrost itself before driving off.  Both mornings, I what's apped my friend my windscreen from behind the wheel. It was because the first morning I had the lovely Jack Frost feathers swirls in the ice but yesterday it was just plain ice. It was just a comparison. She commented that it is just like ground hog day as it was bang on 24 hours between pictures. That is just what this January has been so far.

I have just finished my cup of tea so need to get organised and go to work (no ice this morning on the windscreen though 🤣🤣)

    Have a good day 😁

Heavy snowfall overnight.  LB I hope the charity bags are soon picked up.  I’m just having my second cup of tea and watching the snow.  Wishing you all a good day.

    Morning all,

Loads of rain recently means our 'pond' is the biggest it's ever been :(

It's been snowing for a couple of hours but not really sticking - too wet!

Doesn't look like I'll be having to venture out to referee on Saturday at this rate.

Oh wow Ruby, I have serious snow envy now. All I had was rain but within the last few minutes it has started sleeting down here - with big snow flakes. I went to 'sco this morning - lovely and quiet - and will be making soup this afternoon.
Rosie, the charity bags were picked up before it even got light so I'm pleased about that. Biglad, I think you could be right about the refereeing on Saturday.

Oh flipping heck - so sorry Hazel, I knew that you had had to have the plumber out a couple of times - forgot it was the shower. Blame it on the brain fog! Its still sleeting here but as Biglad said, its too wet for any snow to stick. Could be more knitting this afternoon.

Afternoon All, what a cold soggy day it is,
Hope your day goes well PurpleRose, nice not to have a frozen windscreen to clear,
Rubee lovely snow pictures, you have had a good covering,
LB Pleased your charity bag was collected quickly, soup sounds a good choice for a winter warmer,
Hazel You were good to go out in the wet weather, those baby blankets will be well received, hope your boiler is sorted out soon,
Rosie Enjoy watching the snow from the warmth of your home,
Biglad If it keeps raining at this rate you’ll have a lake,
    Have a nice afternoon everyone.
