Oh dear Hazel. What very stressful times for you and yours. I am very sorry to hear about your poor daughter and I hope that she is not too badly hurt. You have had some troubles with that boiler so I hope that you get it all sorted before the snow and cold arrives.
T'Bird, I'm holding on to the thought of a possible trip to France later this year but somehow I can't see it happening. I'll live in hope! I'm also hoping that my Australian nephew doesn't get married too soon as I quite fancy another trip there for the occasion.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Well it's still raining. I put out my charity bags this morning hoping that last night's rain would have disappeared. Not a chance! I hope that the bags keep the water out otherwise when they get picked up they will be full of wet clothes.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning all, just off to work, busy as we have people off and stressful because we are now carrying out lateral flow tests. Not too worried myself but some staff are hating it and it’s a lot of faff when we are already overstretched. Deliveries too are getting difficult. Some days I long for furlough but on balance I think I am better off working as lots of friends are struggling particularly those who live alone.Â
Not read back but hope all are well and keeping warm and dry.Â
