Oh I have enjoyed watching Gardener's World tonight. I know that Monty was just showing us highlights of last year but it still cheered me up no end. Well done T'Bird for finding some suitable footwear for Mr. Ruby. Yvie, I'm fine - just glad it was only the second to last step - elbow is a tad sore but thats only to be expected. I'll be right as rain tomorrow (Ante - means fully recovered ). I echo Yvie in thanking you all for your commiserations.

    Evening,
Purplerose I’m glad the snow has cleared that’s a relief for you,
Hazel I hope your mum will soon be able to have the vaccine,
SGL Sorry I should have remembered that youngest poppet is your sons, I’m glad they are all ok. Yes Mum is very lucky that her surgery had the vaccines, this was her 2nd so hopefully in a weeks time she will be well protected 🤞
Rubee I hope your OH finds those shoes give him the comfort he needs, they sound ideal a good recommendation,
LB I hope that elbow isn’t too painful, a good nights rest might help,
    Goodnight to all,
  • Morning everyone, been awake since just before 6. Just laid there hoping to go back to sleep, but have given up and come down for a cup of tea.
Just peeked out the kitchen window and it looks very cold and frosty out there, brrrrrrrr 🥶🥶
Hope everyone had a good night's sleep. @Yviestevie and @Ladybird4
hope you don't have aches and pains this time. Take care

Good morning SGL and all to follow.
LB, I hope that you are recovered. Take care and try to rest today.

I'll join SGL with cup of tea, but not a long time. I'm going to nearby town in Lidl and one more little shop. No frost or snow here, but it's freezing and wind is high.
Delivery with pets food arrived yesterday, so I'm good for a month. Now I'm not scared of closed roads or snow.

Have a nice day and see you later.

The lane and the cars are glittering with frost. Another cold day today I think. I'm having my cup of tea right now - nectar!

Aaah bless you SGL. I'll 'fess up. I was so keen to start on my new knitting project that I was casting on those 300 stitches needed and doing the first 3 rows. I think I may have this scarf finished by next December! The actual knitting is just stocking stitch so not too demanding but 300 stitches seem to go on forever.
