Good morning all. Up early for work and today is recycling day so been sorting that.Â
Lovely meal of mushroom stroganoff last night. Made with half fat creme fraiche so less fattening. I had a little bottle of Prosecco with it, just one glass. Absolutely delicious and I donât feel too guilty. I am trying to lose weight but unable to join slimming world so my 3 daughters have set up a WhatsApp group to help motivate me. Next weigh in is 5th February.Â
Lots more speculation at work, the warehouse is definitely going and head office is under discussion. Itâs next door to us and we use their toilet facilities when doctors is closed on Saturdays so not sure what will happen if it goes.Â
All the snow is now gone and it feels a lot milder, hoping it lasts until weekend.Â

A very good morning RosieBB, Debs and Ruby. Debs, that meal sounds absolutely wonderful. Mushroom stroganoff is one of my favourites. The roadworks have struck! Doesn't everyone love a stream of traffic blocking their road off? Just as well I don't need to go out that often now.

Oh no not roadworks again, I hope itâs not Cadent they were the ones digging up our road recently, Its looks soggy outside, unmentionables for me today. Hope you all have a good day ahead.Â
Debs I can remember having mushroom stroganoff at the beech hotel in the lake district, served with wild rice, delicious. Â Im glad you enjoyed it. Â Sorry to hear about the changes at work. Â I hope things will become more settled for you. Â LB and Chive I did get back to sleep after completing the email, but I had a very early breakfast, and I fell into a dream and it was warm and sunny.
Morning Hazel. sorry to her that 23 and his Mum are a bit under the weather. Fingers crossed its just a cold and not Covid.
I've just finished a few hours weeding the top 20% of my drive. It actually stopped raining. I've just come in and it has gone very dark so I might have timed that well. I did have a good laugh though. I'd filled my muck bucket and it was probably too full, as when I went to lift it to empty it in the green bin, it tilted back and several plants with attached soil slid down my cleavage! I learned from that experience though and the following bucket full deposited without incident. Another shower after I have a cuppa. Postie has just delivered some seeds and plug plants so shower can wait 'til later! I hope that you are all having good days.
