Good morning LB hope you get more done in the garden I am longing to start in mine but need to be patient. Hope everyone slept well and is feeling happier. It’s a difficult time for us all but we must remember it’s always darkest before the Dawn and better days are coming when hours spent  with friends and family in our lovely gardens will be a reality again.Â
Good morning everyone . Debs enjoy your walk . The thoughts of planting and growing all those seeds should brighten you day .LB fingers crossed that you can get into the garden today .
Good Morning Debs, LB & Rubee and all to follow, Lovely words Debs and very true, hope you have a nice walk this morning and work goes well later, LB Take care with the weeding, doing it in stages is a good idea but it’s a lot of bending and carrying, hope today goes without any incidents, Rubee Hope you have a good day, are you knitting? SGL & Hazel I hope you both slept better and feeling brighter this morning, I’ve had a message from my brother that he has tested positive, he was off work this week isolating after his colleague tested positive. He felt he had a cold coming on in the last couple of days but it was confirmed early this morning after he had a test done at a drive through centre yesterday. I’m hoping he won’t experience the serious effects of the virus, he had Pneumonia some years ago and he’s always susceptible to coughs & colds. Hope you all have a good day.Â
Morning Ruby and Chive. Yes indeed Ruby, the thought of a new growing season certainly lifted my spirits yesterday but I notice that snow is forecast for my region again tomorrow - typical as its the weekend! Chive, Sorry to hear about your brother's positive test and I sincerely hope that he only has minor effects. Whilst being alone and going scatty at times I am actually very lucky in that I don't have to face the possible consequences of going to work and being exposed to all the possibilities that the unsung heroes who have to keep on going, face. Enormous respect to all those.
p.s. I've looked at that penultimate sentence of mine and I'm not sure I've made sense but I'm sure you will all know what I mean!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Made it to the physio last night but the roads were pretty awful. Had to go a very long way round to avoid deep floods but still had to drive through 2 floods. One I knew about in the village & knew it wasn’t too deep. The other was an unwelcome surprise on the detour and was quite a bit deeper. Fortunately there was other traffic so I could guage the depth on other cars. Drove back under the full moon shining eerily over flooded fields.
Think the physio has done some good with massage & ultra sound and she is sending a list of exercises to do. She has also advised on the correct arm supports to use & directed me to a good site to buy from. Hopefully they’ll enable me to keep gardening this spring.
Chive - sorry to hear about your brother. It really is noticeable that I am hearing of many more people being infected with the virus in this second wave. Guess it’s a result of more people being at work this lock down combined with increased transmissibilty (is that even a word???).
Not sure what to do today. Sun is shining but we had even more rain overnight so I think the garden will definitely be too wet to work. If in doubt about what to do - make a cuppa....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Chive I’m sorry to hear your brother has tested positive and hope too he won’t be too badly affected.  Fingers crossed.  Hazel I hope you’re feeling a little more uplifted today.   Debs enjoy your time in the garden, wear layers.  The vacuum keeps jamming so trying to sort that out today, vacuum emptied so I’ll wash the filters and do some home jobs.  Have a good day.
