Hazel, what great news about 23 and his Mum, it must have really cheered you up hearing that plus your OH is now vaccinated. Interesting that about you being able to drive him straight home as when Jack went for his with his daughter, who did the driving, he had to wait 15 minutes after both his injections.

SGL, remember when we were talking about how on the ball Derbyshire seemed to be in getting people vaccinated? Well I heard from a friend on Monday and she has had her first injection. She is 2 years younger than me.

Morning everyone. Had a much better nights sleep last night and slept through till about 8.30. Glad you had a better nights sleep too Hazel. Great news that 23 and his mummys results came back negative. Must be a huge relief for you all. @Chivetalking so very sorry to hear your brother has tested positive, hope it's a very mild dose and he gets well very soon. Very best wishes to you and your family. LB, glad your aches have gone this morning. It's pouring with rain here too. Topbird glad you got home ok and physio went well. Hope you manage to find some arm supports. Ruby, I wish I could crochet, my mum could and made such lovely things. She tried to teach me, but I just couldn't get the hang of it 😅 Rosie, Shhh......Col TT will hear 😉 Debs enjoy your walk, hope the weather is nicer where you are.Â
Some people we know had their vaccines this week. Both were driven there, but still had to wait 15 minutes or so afterwards. I probably won't be getting mine for awhile, but a bit concerned that I will probably go on the bus, The one nearest to us is about 5 or 6 miles away. Our health centre isn't doing vaccines 😔 And from the bus stop I'll have another mile walk to the place the vaccines are being done.Â
Oops manners. T'Bird, nightmarish journey for you the other day. Glad that you have felt some benefits from the physio though. I remember once driving through some really deep water and all I could remember, having been previously advised was: 'Do NOT change gear'.
Ooh postie just been and I've got my call to book an appointment for my vaccination! Yay!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Got my two vaccinations booked now. First one is next Thursday at 14:45 and second one is April 24th at 17:10. The chemist's is in easy walking distance of 'sco car park so I am sorted!

Ooh SGL you must have snuckered in whilst I was making my bookings. Glad to hear that you had a better night last night. The 'staying up late' must be the way to go for you.

LB , good to hear that you can now book an appointment for your vaccination . I didn’t think I would be able to crochet ,so far I can do a treble stitch and I have managed to understand enough to make a square .But i have a long way to go to be able to understand how to do something more complicated .This is my third attempt.
Hi folks. I’m at Secondborn’s at the moment with the boys. Finding them hard work today as I only managed 3 hours sleep last night. No particular reason just couldn’t drop off. Firstborn and the family are ok still feeling awful but nothing that would cause concern. Glad to hear your family are ok Hazel. Not such good news for Chive but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.Â
It’s great that so many of you are getting your appointments through. Ours will be a while yet as we both just fall short of cut off points.  Stay safe everyone.Â
Afternoon Everyone, thank you all for your kind thoughts it’s much appreciated, Rubee Crochet what a nice idea, the square you’ve made looks lovely, Hazel I’m so pleased that 23 & his mum tested negative what a relief and your OH has had his 1st injection, hope your spirits have been lifted things are looking up, SGL Good to see you had a better nights sleep too, it makes so much difference I hope this carries on for you, Topbird Yikes sounds like a hair raising journey home, good to hear the physio went well and you’re feeling some benefits already. I agree I’ve heard of many more cases with this new strain, RosieBB Hopefully you’ve got your vacuum performing well again now, couldn’t be without that, LB That is brilliant news you now have appointments for both injections, sorry your gardening plans were scuppered by the rain, Yvie Glad that firstborn and family are ok, the lack of sleep is taking its toll on you hope the boys look after their nan this afternoon 🤗Â
