@bluebellsinthewild - it sounds as though predictive text or autocorrect may be switched on on your iPad.

If you want to turn it off go to Settings > General > Keyboard .

Under keyboard I have all the following turned off - Auto-Caps, Auto-Correction, Predictive and Smart Punctuation.

Got fed up with iPad deciding what I wanted to say when I didn't!

Afties all. What time today was your Mum having her vaccine Hazel? I think you said it was today she was getting it. My chives are starting to perk up from last year and I'm hoping for flowers RosieBB. T'Bird, I hope that the exercises are helping. My sis does pilates. I don't know much about it at all. I did yoga for a while but once down on the floor I could never get up. It was hilarious! I gave up in the end. I managed another hour and a half on the drive and got everything shut away just as the temperature fell and it went very dark. Sleet and snow forecast. Joy.

You snuckered in there T'Bird but it did remind me of a funny occurrence I had with predictive text. I was describing something as 'excellent' but it came out as 'excrement' in the text. Good job I spotted it!

  • Top bird thank you I’ve just switched the predictive text off, hooray.    LB Pilates wasn’t really for me either.

Hope it helps Rosie - you don't need any excrement texts like LB😁 Predictive text & auto-correct can be less than helpful at times!

I like the stretches in yoga and pilates but have a terrible sense of balance so can't hold many of the positions for long.

    Foodie quiz😋 Let's have a go -

    1 Basil?
    2 Rosemary
    3 Nutmeg
    4 Sage

    10 Allspice
    11 Mulled wine
    12 Cumin?
    13 Saffron
    14 bayleaf?
    15 Lion?

17 Herbs are leaves and stalks, spices are flowers and seeds?

    Afternoon all.
Work is finished for today and tomorrow is Sunday, so peaceful day. Now first cup of tea and dinner. Had a small tour in front garden and almost all spring bulbs are peeking out. Just hope so for mild weather rest of the winter.

Hazel, I gave up, dust won 😁.

LB, thank for another quiz. Forecast is also snow for tomorrow. Unbelievable after beautiful, warm day.

Evening all. I have had a pottering sort of day today. Some echinacea plants I'd ordered arrived so I potted them temporarily into pots in the greenhouse. The snow/sleet didn't arrive but the freezing temperatures did. Its 2°C at the moment, set to go down to -2°C in the night. A little bit brrrrr!

Tomorrow I am going to set aside my hour for the RSPB big garden bird watch. Poor little feather dusters just got blown all over the place today
