Chive, thanks so much to you (and your brother) for sharing such a beautiful picture of the sleepy visitor. Hi PurpleRose and Debs - hope the snuffles disappear soon Debs. Yvie, thoughts are with you after your upsetting news.
Chey has asked me to pass on his love to you all. He has had a bit of a melt down and needs our thoughts too.

Well I've finished my Big Garden Birdwatch but the RSPB website must have had so many people wishing to enter their results that its crashed I'll try again later.

Finally got through and entered my results. My one surprise visitor (that I've never managed to record before) was a song thrush.

Afternoon folks,  Thanks for all your kind thoughts.  Sorry to hear you are struggling a bit @Cheyngel  Seems we all are at the moment.

Had to have the ambulance yesterday for Firstborn and SIL.  They think she has Pneumonia and will need an x-ray.  Her oxygen levels are holding steady and when I spoke to her this morning she says that the antibiotics seem to be helping.  She's still  not going into hospital.  SIL is struggling today but he is a couple of days behind the others.  Merri continues to improve and Mabel has no symptoms.  Merri and Mabel are being very good.  Merri is making Firstborn check her oxygen every two hours and has been sneaking into her room at night and checking while Firstborn is asleep.  One of the doctors who saw them apparently contacted social services saying that there were two adults ill with children in the house.  Firstborn wasn't best pleased considering she is responsible for safeguarding at a very large school and usually can't get children into care when they desperately need it.  Social services were great though and said they weren't worried.  Merri however was very upset, she had already had a bit of a shock with paramedics arriving dressed in (as she put it)  nuclear haz mat suits, never mind the idea of 'being taken into care' .  As she said, I don't know what they would do, we've got Covid where on earth were they going to put us.

    Stay safe and warm everyone.

    Morning

Just popped in to send very best wishes to both @Cheyngel and @Yviestevie.

You are both going through the mill at the moment. This too will pass.
