@Lizzie27 Ceramic hobs need special heavy bottomed pans t conduct the heat properly and not go into warp or meltdown. It seems many cooker companies offer sets of pans when they sell a hob and you can find full sets very cheaply on e-Bay and neighbourhood swap and sell sites so tell her to get googling.
@Dovefromabove - not colourful now. Very dark and grey at sunset and the wind is rising. Poor old @floralies has to deal with storm Hortense tonight with even stronger winds than here and heavy rain and snow expected depending on altitude.
@Yviestevie thanks but the only outside space I could stash them is the cave which has a beaten earth floor and no damp-proofing in its stone walls so is damp. We'll have to work on making a dry container space in there I expect. Maybe I could refrain from buying more fabric, use up my stash and make some shelf space in that storage space. Perish the thought!

This morning I had lots of admin about moving and change of address. So much paperwork here, everyone wants copies of the electricity bill as proof, but I've only just received the bill. OH found the printer and got it working this morning.
Unpacked a load of ornaments and glass to go in the display cabinet and glass shelves in the sitting room. Sitting room is now unpacked, even found my sewing basket, but not the books that went under the coffee table. Dining room and sitting room cabinets both need re-arranging to look better.
The temporary Airbox for Internet, works on mobile phone signal, ran out of charge this afternoon, we'd left it by the printer instead of plugging it back in, took ages to get my Laptop going again.
Off to cook stir fried chicken with sweet pepper and mushrooms.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Homemade pizza here, sweetie the shed cat got out this afternoon and hid in the very full shed smiling to herself... brother came home and felt guilty as it was his stuff in the shed that prevented me from reaching her, he managed to reach her and sacrificed an amount of skin and blood in the process bless him! She is smiling on an electric blanket now while brother soaks his wounds in the bath!
@Dovefromaboveif I had read what you were cooking earlier you would have had to save some, lock down be bu@@ered I'm sure there is a homemade steak and kidney pudding emergency clause, I'll ask Dominic!😉😇
