KT53,, I tried complaining before got absolutely no where

If you are his appointee escalate the issue to your MP.  Don't let them get away with it.  They shouldn't be contacting him direct at any time if he has an appointee.  If you are simply named as being permitted to act on his behalf on DWP systems it's a different matter.

Some of the tracks are very calming but dreadful earworms.

I had to go to the tip to get shot of the broken greenhouse glass and since it was right by Morrison's I thought I'd pop in and stock up on a few things I can't buy elsewhere. I took one look at the carpark and drove right back out though. I haven't seen it that busy outside of the Christmas period. :/  We're still on Lockdown here and essential journeys only but the place was rammed. I wonder if the vaccine effect is kicking in and people are deciding they're safe now? It's certainly not looking good for a quiet trip to the garden centre next week after they open again on Monday.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I always find Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the quietest. You don't get the long weekenders or people who've thrown a sickie

Wild Edges, when shops reopen I won't be going anywhere near them for at least a week.  From the queues that form you would think people had been without water for a week and the shop was offering a free supply.

I won’t  going to any shops for the rest of this year.  I’ve had the first jab, so 52% safe,   They’ve now halted vaccines and taking no appointments through April so by the time us oldies who had the 1st one in January/Feb get the 2nd, the 1st will be useless so still only half protected.
Cornwall is fully booked and loads more will come down this summer, we won’t be going outside the door.

@lyn my understanding is it’s only first jabs that have been paused. This is so the older folk due for their second jabs can get them without delay. Second jabs due in April are going ahead.
