One of my main tribulations is the lack of gender awareness among dog walkers. Due to covid cancelling haircuts both of my boys are now sporting long blond hair and coupled with their blue eyes and cherubic faces they are frequently mistaken for girls no matter how much blue we dress them in. Normally when someone says something like "It's nice to see little girls playing in the mud" I just laugh and they move on but today my oldest boy was climbing all over a big log while the little one was in the rucksack carrier alternating his time between trying to unscrew my ears and trying to attack his brother like a manic goblin. They were both having a full on slap fight while laughing their heads off when a couple walks past and start complementing me on my pretty daughters. I give them the polite laugh and get back to trying to hold my ears on but they start telling me about their two daughters and two granddaughters and how having girls is so much better than having boys. I was only saved from having to awkwardly answer what their names were by my older boy taking one for the team and falling off the log.

Ebay would be much easier if it wasn't for all the thickos. Something I want to buy is £18.85 on Amazon or you can get it on Ebay for £19.15 both brand new with delivery included and yet every auction I watch is selling for a higher price than both. Are people really this dull?

Dunno.  I've never wasted any time on Ebay.

I sold the 90cm wide range cooker we inherited here but used a local site and set a price.  I gave away the dishwasher when the young couple came to collect the cooker.

    No bidding, no messing.

I prefer the 'buy it now' option on Ebay and I've found that if I add an item to my watch list then invariably the seller will send me an offer reducing the price by 10-15%. I've had some good bargains on there recently though so it's not all bad if you can avoid all the fake stuff and the wildly bidding weirdos.
