@Lyn. As far as I know @Dovefromabove is correct, all second doses should still be given on time.

@Lyn, I agree with Dove & Punckdoc, I understand that the 2nd jabs are going ahead,  this was predictable as, 12 million are due the 2nd dose by the end of April .

I believe the second jab works as a booster to prolong the effect of the first and a lot of medical opinion suggests that the longer the gap between vaccines the better. I am not an expert but the person who told me that knows his stuff so try not to worry too much.

Thanks folks, reassuring.  I have to admit to being a bit worried,  they did say up to 28 days for the 2nd one.
They will tell us what they want us to believe,  I can see another spike in 6 to 8 months.
    Hope I’m wrong.

@Lyn No problem there's so much contrary information at the moment. I  like to think that I keep up with it all but I admit I have been a bit confused too recently, especially when we can & can't do certain things.

My first jab was 15 Feb. My appointment for the second us 3 May. 12 weeks apart as advised 👍

In Rutland they have given us full assurance that those due for their second vaccinations will get them within the 11 to 12 week time frame.

Uhoh another Iceland volcano is going off. Apparently not as bad as when Eyjafjallajokull erupted in 2010 but this time it's Fagradalsfjall erupting. Local resident Rannveig Gudmundsdottir, who lives in Grindavik, said "Fyrsta mynd af gosinu. Tekin úr þyrlu Landhelgisgæslunnar. Syðri endi tungunnar er um 2,6 km frá Suðurstrandarvegi. Miðað við fyrstu upplýsingar er sprungan um 200 m löng".  A terrible time to be running a media pronunciation dept I imagine :#
