B,,3,, it's bloody disgusting,I have seen TV programs where blind people have been told that they can learn to type, they were meant to have me on the call
It was set up , and is being overseen by a Tory Government: what do you expect?

Nanny Beach if you are his appointee make an official complaint to DWP.ย  What happened is simply not acceptable.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the loss of the view from my lower stairwell window. It was a fine view, enjoyed by many, particularly by Rocky the dog who enjoyed its convenient height and panoramic view of all the burglars walking up and down our street, but also by the house's human occupants who admired its picturesque aspect of the changing seasons in the unspoiled valley up the road as well as its advantageous location for nosing on the neighbours. Its fine display of plants will miss the fine light levels and protection from little hands and wagging tails that they have enjoyed for so many years. It is survived by its partner, upper stairwell window, whose view has also sadly has been diagnosed with the same terminal condition. As always we look for the positives in these situations and I, for one, will look forward to being able to walk from bathroom to bedroom without risking putting passers-by off their bangers and mash and at least they chose a half-decent brick with which to ruin my view. In the name of the developer, the new owner and the holy bricklayer, amen.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    My Thalias aren't๐Ÿ˜
They're a horrible washed out cream with washed out yellow trumpets. They're my favourites so I didn't mind paying a bit extra. I'm really psssssd off. ๐Ÿ˜  I've put them all over the place.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

@B3 take a photo, complain, write a lousy review and get your money back.

My Thalia that I bought autumn 2019 turned out to be Minnow (or something very similar) Serves me right for buying cheapo - can't remember whether it was Morrisons or B&Q. I have higher hopes for the ones that I put in last autumn (from a bulb specialist) but they're only just showing tight buds so it's too soon to tell. I'll be back on here being curmudgeonly about it if they're not Thalia this time around.

@Yviestevie. I'm not absolutely certain where I bought them. I putย  some of them near the front door for easier gloating๐Ÿ˜ž
Will Google Minnow and see if that's what I got.
These chancers bloomed far to soon to be Thalia so there's hope for yours @JennyJ๐Ÿ˜Š
Just checked. That's them. Must've come from the same dodgy batch as yours . I didn't get mine from Morrison's or B&Q but I suppose they get them all from the same suppliers with their own packaging.

I have seen TV programs where blind people have been told that they can learn to type
My Dad learned to type after he lost his sight. He was a very proficient touch typist while he was working. He was even given a typewriter by the RNIB. Much easier with a typewriter though, than a modern keyboard - the keys are too close together and hard to discriminate. And of course a tablet - no chance. He couldn't have used a smart phone either. All these things with no buttons are all very well but useless if you can't see. Had he still been alive, he'd have been reliant on Alexa and her ilk.

Sorry about your son, NannyB. Total lack of compassion for him or respect for you. It's b**y infuriating as a carer to be cut out of the conversation, as if you are irrelevant. I got so cross with 'agencies' making decisions without reference to me, when I was responsible for Dad. I seemed to spend half my life being absolutely furious with someone. We got a lot of holes dug in those years.
