I’ve got a studio, a study and a shed ... if I had the space I’d have a sewing room too.

I have a sewing room, while we can't have guests... it has folding bunk beds in it for the grandchildren to occupy, eventually.   :)  And I think I also have a shed - though hubby has commandeered one long wall for his wood collection...

Edited to say:  but definitely no boudoir.  Not that sort of woman...   ;)

I have a sewing room which used to have bunk beds in it but we've now removed these and stored them in the "cave" so I can have more space and storage for fabrics, patterns etc.

I have an 8m x 4m polytunnel which OH invades when we're growing tomatoes and on wet days he takes the chook feeder in there so they can be but out in the daylight dry but otherwise it's my domain.  My 9m x 6m potting barn lost half its roof in storm Alex and the rest will be dismantled soon so it will be an open air potting shed cos sometimes the polytunnel is just too hot for seed sowing and its stone walls will still provide shade.

We have an annex where there is light and space to do my crafty stuff and be able to leave paint/mosaic/varnish to dry safely but it's unheated so not in winter.

We have his and her sheds, although his is bigger than mine which isn't fair, so I have commandeered the porch as well. I've also turned the grandchildren's bedroom into an ironing room while they're not here which saves me having to lug the ironing board up and down.

I just caught myself about to throw a used tea towel into the oven. I'm hoping that it's nothing to worry about unless you don't catch yourself😕

I have an office, a study, a mancave, a nag-resistant bunker and an extensive library/personal museum. Sadly they're all the same very small room which I now have to share with my wife. :(  Still it is better than being one of those poor people who have to work from home while sat in the kitchen surrounded by their bored children. I'd convert the cupboard under the stairs before I resorted to that.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I have a craft room upstairs which I am currently sharing with a guitar teacher (Hubby) who is currently conducting lessons virtually.  The shed is also mine which I try and keep Hubby free.  Both my hideaways are tidy.  Hubby has a huge cellar which is an absolute tip.

  • There is a shed & greenhouse here but as my wife doesn't "do" spiders she rarely enters either. There are two sheds & a greenhouse on the Allotment too.

I ought to explain that the shed is a Sentry shed so I can’t actually get into it, the study is where we drapevthe washing around the radiator in the winter, and I share the studio with OH ... just in case anyone thought I had more than my fair share 🤣
