I wish the rich and privileged would give it a rest. Kate understands how exhausting it is to bring up children during lockdown  - yeh  right😒 Samantha's business is suffering because of Brexit . doh!

SMS from Three this morning:  "Yasss, you've arrived in South Africa!..."  -followed by details of how much they are going to charge me for calls and texts.  Clearly, I haven't arrived in SA.  What they mean is, they are now imposing roaming charges in Ireland...   :/

Why are they doing that, is this another "benefit" of Brexit?

As County Clare is in the Republic of Ireland, and remains in the EU, that would seem unlikely.
  • Another mouse has found its way into the utility room.  It was in a trap but it got away.  I have spent the morning trying to work out where they are getting in.  I moved some more things and found a potential gap between floor and wall.  All blocked up now,  hope this is the answer.  We went months without any,  I guess all the rain has driven them in ☹

@KT53 Three is a UK based company and that will be affected by Brexit, especially if @Liriodendron took out her contract while still living in England and just carried it on in Eire.   Time for a change.

This site has crashed my tablet twice today. It won't let me off the site unless I close down and reboot. Is it just me?

No idea.  I've never used a tablet so don't know if its format/technology would affect connections.

Another 3 weeks added to the Welsh lockdown :(  It looks like I'll have to postpone my birthday walk for a while until we can get out to enjoy some freedom. Or we could just ignore the rules like everyone else around here and force everyone else into lockdown for even longer :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Is it very curmudgeonly of me to celebrate that every pandemic has a silver lining? 😉
