Hello all. Sorry you had trouble yesterday SGL. Hopefully between @Horlicks, Hazel and t'internet you can clear it all up and run smoothly again. Love the picture. I would like a covering of white - even if its just frost - to give a Christmassy feeling. Just not getting it at all yet.
For Mr T'Bird
I hope that you have a lovely trip out. It rained the whole time I was at the GC. I had my birthday voucher from them to use and it was burning a hole in my pocket. They send a £3 voucher out to every loyalty card holder when it is near their birthdays plus you get 5% credit on each purchase and I had a coupon for all of last years purchases so I treated myself to two blackcurrant bushes - Ben Tirran and Ben Sarek. I'm now going to read up about them. I removed an old bush this year that had lost its productivity and I really missed the taste of fresh blackcurrants.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Thanks for the good wishes girls - we’re setting off very soon. Wish the weather was a bit nicer for him though.
Spent yesterday afternoon making thecushions for the new toy. Here they are - I love this fabric and they even sent a couple of Harris Tweed seam labels to sew in toaddthe finishing touch. We’ll try them out today.😎 SYL.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
@Songbird-1 I bought a new iPad 18mths ago, I don’t know how old yours is. I downloaded 14.3 a few days ago, this took more than half an hour and the battery had to be 70pc full to enable the download to complete. If the latest download has been completed then turn your iPad off for just 2minutes, if other things are not working properly I am afraid I can’t help. Have never had problems with my iPad. I turn mine off about every two weeks. Good luck anyway. Couldn’t live without mine as can only use left hand now so the laptop is of no use! The Apple shop in Cardiff transferred everything from my old pad to the new one, they gave me money for my old iPad.
Ante, LB, Chive and Hazel I did go to bed in the morning and managed to drift away, thank you. Hazel we could have chatted. I hope you will sleep tonight. Topbird your cushions look great. I like the fabric. I’ve been going through paperwork which I started last night. I’ve done some ironing and pottered and I’m going to make a cup of tea. It’s raining outside and the heating is on brrr.
Hazel, don't think it was my tablet as I couldn't get on when trying with my phone either 😔 But I do delete lots of things regularly just in case. Topbird, thank you, good to see you too. I love the cushions, beautiful material and colours. See Boris is making another announcement at 5 o'clock today.
Think shops should be closed Boxing day any year and all bank holidays and Sunday's!
Afternoon, damp & dull here squelched across the garden topped up the bird feeder, freshened up the bird bath then squelched back again, Rosie I’m glad you managed to sleep some more, hope you got your paperwork all sorted out, LB those black currant bushes sound like a nice treat for you and a good way of using the loyalty vouchers and discounts, T’bird gorgeous cushions love the colours, a job well done, Hazel we won’t be going hungry for a while and plenty of loo rolls too 😉 Lily I dread to hear what Boris will say today, we’ll know soon enough.
Good evening ladies. I just hope so that Boris doesn't have more bad news. It was on our news something about that but I don't trust them much. Here is something to cheer you up.
