Weather is apalling here too LB.  Hubby has been out to get logs for the fire and it nearly blew the door off the conservatory.   Spag Bol for dinner.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Afternoon everyone,
Lily Thats is good news for OH with his consultation today, what a relief for you both,
Yvie I hope Gabriel is safely back home and feeling better,
Topbird that’s a good tip to keeping bread fresh,
Rosie snap, lots of odd jobs including Lily’s tv and flat hot things,
Rubee I'm pleased you are ready, I hope your lovely knitted decorations are out on display,
LB I’m glad you were able to see your rellies however briefly before Christmas, all gifts exchanged and cats fed that’s a good day,
Hazel Nice to know your shopping wasn’t short of anything urgently needed,
Slightly disappointing I went to donate blood this afternoon, but when they checked my iron level was too low so I was unable to proceed. I’ve been advised to see my GP as it’s below the average for women and banned from donating for a year 😕

SGL - so pleased to hear your good news. I’m sure that’s the best Christmas present for you both🙂

Chive - if it’s any consolation I was turned away from doning sessions a couple of times too. Nothing sinister wrong but it’s always good to get it checked out.

Seems we’re going into Tier 4 at 1 minute into Boxing Day. 🙄
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Thanks T’bird, sorry to hear you will be placed into tier 4 too.
  • Thank you everyone, so very kind. And yes, it's the best present we could have.  Huge sigh of relief. 🤗

We had a few items missing from our SM delivery, fresh orange juice and some cheeses. Nothing that important really.
We're in tier 4 now and in lockdown from Boxing day too. 😕

Oh T'Bird, thats a pain. All the better that your MIL was resigned to being on her own before that pronouncement. You can only imagine the stress it would have caused her.
