Oops, manners! Morning SGL, Ruby and Chive. Seeing you SGL, I'm guessing that you accessed the forum easily this morning? Ruby, didn't have to wait at all, and yes, Chive, I got everything missing from the delivery.

Chive damp and squelchy underfoot here too.    Ante love the cartoon, very apt.  I too like Shaun the sheep.    LB great to have blackberry bushes in the garden.  I hope you’ll have loads of berries. LB and Ante you are both early birds.  I slept through last night.  I’m having a walk with dad this morning.  Wishing you a good day.

Morning Rosie. Tee hee you, like Hazel, think I got blackberry bushes. I didn't, I got blackcurrants. (bet that's predictive text!) Enjoy your walk with your Dad.

    Morning.
Think I might do some unmentionables today and replace the greenery on the mantel shelf. It's been there for 10 days and starting to go a bit crispy... Then I should probably wrap OH's parcels while watchingIt's a Wonderful Life or The Holly & the Ivy. A glass of sherry wouldn't go amiss.

LB - bit of a pain about your food order. I have just a few bits and pieces of fresh stuff to buy and am debating between very first thing, after 7.30pm or lunchtime tomorrow. Decisions, decisions...

Morning all,  I have unmentionables planned for today too @Topbird It's a case of needs must as the house is in a right state.  Gabriel was taken into hospital again last night with breathing issues.  Secondborn caught it relatively early and they have treated him and will be sending him home today.  My Hubby has gone over to look after Jonah and Gabriel (when he gets home) as Secondborn has to go to the funeral of her ex husband today.  Have had to go into town this morning as Firstborn had a list of things that were missed off her SM order.  I have managed to get replacements but they wont be top quality, never mind no-one will mind in the current situation.  Stay safe everyone.

I’m back from the walk with dad.  It was good to get some fresh air, not blowy at all. We said hello to a few people as we were going round.  The sun was very low and bright and you had to shade your eyes.  Topbird good luck with the sm shop.  LB black currant jam would be lovely :).

Hello T'Bird and Yvie. I've got Lily's TV on at the moment - probably why the sky has gone decidedly overcast again! I think a sherry sounds like a cracking idea T'Bird.
Yvie, I am so sorry to hear about poor Gabriel. It must be such a worry and at a time when a funeral is pending too. Your daughter must find it very comforting to have you nearby to assist when needed.

Yvie, it’s sad to hear about Gabriel having breathing problems again.  I hope with him being discharged he is feeling better.  I hope, as I did, he grows out of it, after treatment.  A sad day for your family for your daughter.
