The seeds I ordered from La Boite à Graines yesterday are already packed and posted. Impressed. Their email confirming this indicates they're not far away, on the road to the lovely Leader Plants place.

Morning Forumites! Not sure if the answer to this is very obvious but I couldn't find it in quick simple terms online.
Does this EU rule also apply the other way as well? ie. Are we in England not allowed to RECEIVE seeds sent in the post FROM Sweden (EU)? We received a packet of strawberry seeds this morning in the post (from a Swedish friend) and my young girls didn't want to open or plant them as they weren't sure what the rules were. Could someone please confirm what the official rule is? TIA
@sonia35515 in theory imports of plants and seeds they are meant to have a phytosanitary certificate and go through a customs declaration process, but if the seeds you have received are from a reliable seed producer to EU standards (have a look on the packet) I think your girls can rest easy.

Thanks @Nollie, that's what I read as well about the phytosanitary certificate but I wasn't sure if that applied to commercial or bulk seeds. Our friend simply sent this packet in the standard post in a normal envelope (we hadn't requested them), the seeds were in a standard unopened seed packet from their local garden shop. My girls are quite anxious about what the official stance is (even though I'm confident that these are legit seeds with no chance of environmental disease).
Just to say I’m very pleased with the perennials I received last month from Leaderplant. Yes they were a little on the small side, but they have grown on really well and look very healthy.
On the other hand, of the 16 plants, which were in stock when I ordered, from Promesse de Fleurs, 10 turned out to be not in stock after all and I was given no opportunity to choose alternative plants. There is supposed to be a partial refund coming, but I was still charged the full original postage. The remaining 6 arrived today. One was a ‘body bag’ rose pruned down to no more than 20cm, roots and all (it will probably be ok, just take time, but expensive for what it is), 4 were tiny plug plants in ‘teabags’ shoved into 9cm pots with virtually no roots and one was missing entirely. So I received 5 poor plants out of 16 ordered. Atrocious!
Needless to say I have sent a very grumpy complaint to PdeF. That’s it, was never very impressed with the quality of their plants which often arrive mildewed and sorry-looking, infested with weeds or smothered in moss. If Leaderplant doesn’t have what I want in future, I will do without!

@Nollie that is very odd regarding PdeF, I have used them for a few years now and have always had very good plants from them, I am expecting a delivery of plug plants so will let you know what they are like.

I didn't have any problem with them for the last 2 years (approx 6 or 7 orders). Only one lilium out if stock and they refunded automatically.
Check the size of the plants before ordering, I also bought a rose and it came like yours and it's ultra healthy and beautiful. And the teabag size ones probably were "minimottes". Otherwise you can choose 9cm size pots.
Perhaps they send the dross to Spain @floralies! I don’t mind receiving a plug plant if that’s what I ordered, but not one shoved into a 9cm pot and charged €6 for 😡
