@Nollie - I've been googling about for suppliers of Aleppo and Jalapeno chilli pepper seed and came across this German seed company with descriptions in English.  Prices seem OK too.

Thanks @Obelixx and @floralies - tho you didn’t add the link Obelixx? I’ve ordered from Premier Seeds already for next year, so won’t have to worry until 2022. That’s assuming they get here, our postal service is in complete chaos at the moment. They have already lost a parcel of species tulip bulbs of mine, the last stocks of a particular type I could find anywhere in Europe. I’m disinclined to ask the small specialist nursery to bear the cost of a refund as it’s the loss of the bulbs rather than the money that’s irritating.

  • Just out of interest.. what sort of seeds do you all purchase that come from the EU? I order mine from websites like Suttons and Sarah Raven which I trust sell mainly British grown seeds and plants.. I have placed an order recently for some vegetable seeds for my new allotment but somehow haven’t got a confirmation of order which is unusual.. surely sale of plant products within the country would not be affected? Unless the company imports them from the EU for some reason..

    Sorry @Nollie.  Thought I had - https://www.asklepios-seeds.de/gb/vegetable-seeds.html

Thanks @floralies.  I'm OK for chilli seeds for next year but will add that site to my lists.

@celcius_kkw this thread is aimed at those of us who live in continental Europe and can no longer order seeds from the UK.

It's so unfair that NI and Scotland both voted to stay in the EU, Scotland by a 2 to 1 majority, yet only NI gets to stay in.
It's as if Westminster is telling Scotland that you need to start shooting folk and setting off a few bombs?

@Balgay.Hill In purely practical terms Northern Ireland is a huge financial drain on the UK economy costing billions to subsidise and is even more than the billions paid by the UK to be a member of the EU.   NI hasn't been a net contributor to the overall economy since the depression in the 30s.   I suspect the number crunchers at the Treasury would be pleased to see drift away and unite with Eire at last.

Scotland, per head, costs half as much to subsidise.

    Scotland is subsidised by England?
You really need to do your sums.

The Act of Union in 1707 was finally signed because Scotland's economy needed bailing out after the disastrous Darien scheme.  Been paying ever since.

Currently, Scotland contributes 66billion including north sea oil but receives 81billion in public spending - https://www.deliveringforscotland.gov.uk/scotland-in-the-uk/public-spending/
