Thanks for the links @Obelixx, very helpful. I know Jelitto, who are good, but not the others and it’s great to have an alternative organic veg seed supplier.

There's this one too @Nollie https://www.samenhaus.de/ but I don't read or speak German so not for me.

I struggle with German too, but am now a dab hand at negotiating the purchase process from sites in the Netherlands, which is the bit that doesn’t always translate!

I know enough Flemish to order in bars and restaurants but they always reply in English so I gave up learning more and concentrated on French while we lived in the Walloon region of Belgium.  I would be not be up to tackling trading terms in Dutch @Nollie

That will save on air pollution then.

Unless they drive, which is more likely with dogs, and, as of Jan 1st, they can stay in their second homes in the EU for only 90 in any 180 days which will mean more trips.  Many would spend more than 6 months here at a time so it will be a big change.

Yes they drive, but it’s about the invalidity of current EU pet passports next year - you need to know when you want to travel with your pet and start the process 4 months in advance of that, which precludes spur of the moment decisions:

Shouldn't be a problem for sensible people who have their pets micro-chipped and vaccinated every year.   Ours get their rabies jabs as a matter of course since we first started taking Rasta to France from Belgium and that makes ours valid for UK except for having to have the worming treatment from a vet and using the correct product the week before trying to cross the Channel.

People have been turned back because they've had an unrecognised worming product which costs them time as well as their place on the ferry or Chunnel.   They'll be even fussier now at the pet processing "reception" at Calais and other ports.
