Good morning all. I will be observing the two minutes silence today on my doorstep as asked by the Royal British Legion. I watched the Festival of Remembrance last night - stunning.

Good grief Hazel, you have had a nightmare with that shower installation. It would be very sensible to have the new RCD and fuseboard fitted as soon as possible.

Didn't know about the 2 minute silence on the doorstep LB.

Because of the strange times we are living in SGL, no parades can take place today so the Royal British Legion made this request, for all who can, to observe the 2 minutes silence from 11:00 on their doorsteps.

Morning everyone . I will be observing the 2 minutes silence at 11am . Only just come downstairs . Need tea .
  • Yes knew there were no parades this year LB, but hadn't heard anything about standing on the doorstep. A lovely idea.

Morning all.  A foggy day today like yesterday.  I will too be observing the two minute silence.  My poppy arrived yesterday, speedy delivery.   LB the Remembrance was very moving last night.
  • Afternoon everyone, yes we observed the two minute silence at 11.00.
Sorry just got a bit waylaid this morning with moving some furniture around, I had more of a supervisory role 😉
Hope you all have a good Sunday.

Afternoon folks,  Lazy day planned today, lots of TV, puzzles and not much else.  I'm glad you've got that shower sorted Hazel, it's been a bit of a marathon. Enjoy your day.
