LB Merri is OK, still in pain differs day to day.  They have said she can't have a scan until the current lockdown is over.

That lump of stone dug out of the garden was a gate post. I haven't found the other one yet.

  • It's absolutely lashing down with rain, and howling with wind. Has been for a couple of hours.

    Good morning all.
It's again time for school. Wind stopped last night so it's much warmer outside. Must visit SM after work and that's it for today.

Hazel, my father is adapting to retirement well. This summer I gave him huge project and he and my uncle work together. I'll show you photo at Saturday, because I'll then go to cottage. After that project he will build greenhouse, 10*10 meters.

Have a nice day, without rain if it's possible. 😁

Good morning everybody. SGL, last night I was disturbed by a strange sound which, at first, I couldn't quite identify. It was torrential, almost monsoon-like, rain battering the front of the house. All I could think about was 'please don't blow over my dustbins'. It is much quieter today. Ante, that is a huge greenhouse but it will be lovely to have that shelter to work in when the weather is horrid outside. Thanks for the update on Merri Yvie. Such a shame for one so young. I actually taught a young girl with rheumatoid arthritis and her life was seriously impacted as you can imagine.
