Lovely autumnal day here, starting to lift the Cannas today, going to be a long job.

You're probably right, d-fab (as usual  ;)) but I'll still give them the benefit of my wisdom  :D

It can't do any harm @Biglad and it'll feel good to allow your wisdom to stretch its legs  ;)

Oooh missed @chicky's anniversary 🥂  Congratulations to you both!  :D

    Afternoon folks,
Happy Birthday Fairy and congrats on your Anniversary Chicky.
I've been out in the garden attacking Claire Austin.  I'm hoping to get the new rose arch up at the weekend so the two roses need to be tamed.  One of the obelisks has been removed but I still need to get the other one out.  Will need to wait for Hubby and he's teaching today.  To be honest the whole garden is a bit of a mess.  Just a few weeks of neglect has meant that the weeds are running riot and the bulb planting and Autumn tidy up is way behind schedule.

What's she ever done to you?  :D
A potty mind @Biglad? Moi? Never....
    I am  a laydeee.
I've got s*d all to do in the garden apart from feed Dave. He's had his grub and gone now. Typical.
Once a couple of shrubs have died back I have some moving of them to do. They may not get as far as dying back.
I went for an ordinary walk, but I took the camera with me so I'll take a look at those later. Difficult to take photos when people's houses or cars are in the way. I tried not to look too suspicious.
Girls are doing the shopping. I hope they're bringing choklit. Virtual calories are better for the waistline, but very unsatisfying  ;)

I finally have some garlic to plant and thought I'd try some shallots too.  That'll be tomorrow or Saturday as I need to stay clean for dance class this evening.   Got some bird food blocks too - fat and mealworms and fat and insects.  The tits love those and one of the robins has worked out how to feed from them too.

I treated Possum and me to a bar of chlockit (her toddler pronunciation that's stuck) but not till Saturday and only if we get a walk in first.

Happy Anniversary @chicky, I hope you've been having a good day.

I've been out to tea with another friend. No cake but I had a Kit Kat  :p

It’s been a lovely sunny Autumn day here, but the clear skies will give way to a chilly night.
