    Morning all/afties @Pat E if you're looking in. I have rain you can share today  :)
    I was going to ask the same thing @Dovefromabove. Terrific viewing and heart breaking/joyous in equal measure. Something all of us here posting on a forum take for granted. The older chap had such a positive outlook.
    @Obelixx - grapes v cabbage. Tough choice  :D
    Glad you got a slot for the jab @punkdoc.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Morning all. There was a lot I wanted to watch last night. I recorded some of it on +1 and watched some, but I can't record something and watch something else, sometimes I can but other times the Humax thingy won't let me. So I ended up watching TV in bed while recording went on the the sitting room. But I didn't see the Write Offs. I wish the Bake Off wasn't 1h 15 as it interferes with other programmes. Looking forward to All Creatures Great and Small.

    Good morning everyone.     Well done @punkdoc

    Cool here and grey so far with slivers of watery looking sun peeking thru.  Hens were much quicker to venture out this morning tho 2 are still very shy and uncertain.   Rasta haircut this morning and maybe a beach for walkies this pm.  Trying to make sure Possum gets air and exercise and the change of scene also means the dogs don't get bored.

    Have a lovely day, whatever your weather and plans.

    Good morning everyone.  We have our September back!  The Artic Wave has disappeared as has the wind.  Beautiful sunny (crispy) morning.

    @D0rdogne_Damsel   Wow!  That is great advertising for your restaurant.  Congratulations.  "Madame" is a well-known glossy magazine - at this rate you should be in Vogue next Spring.
    @Busy-Lizzie     Ooof - you must be relieved as the French Conveyancing Laws are stifling.
    A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    Really @tuikowhai34?  I found the rules and timelines of Belgian and French conveyancing liberating after the uncertainties of the English system which can drag it all out for months.  And months.

    Not always though.  We had our offer accepted here in mid December and moved in mid Feb.  There are always some that have nightmare stories, but most systems can provide examples of that to keep the newspapers happy 😃.

    Expecting rain here today, so I will be ticking off my indoor jobs.
