No -they haven't been re measured @Lizzie27 Snowdon is the highest hill in the rest of the UK, but is considerably lower than many of our hills here. There's 282 hills over 3,000 feet in Scotland - The Munros, and over 50 are higher than Snowdon. 10 are over 4,000 feet, and only one of those isn't in The Cairngorms or Glen Nevis. I meant to ask you - is the vertigo a recent thing? Apologies if you've already said.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@Lizzie27 I had tests at an Otology Centre. Very thorough, very kind, very reassuring. No problem re eye/ear connection. Cardiologist for irrigation was the next step. All good at cardio's but awaiting results after having being monitored for 24 hours.
Lovely lovely day in Dorset. Loved Corfe Castle, both the castle itself, the very cute village and the views from the neighbouring hill we clambered up.
Then we went down to Studland, where Mr C had a swim whilst Chicklet and I sat and gossiped on the beach, followed by fish and chips on the harbour at Swanage and then the Sandbanks Ferry home. Good fun 😄😄😄😄
Evening all, wrote a long post and promptly deleted myself. 😱 Anyway, in the main it was hugs to all that need them and hope all is well with the world where you are. Extra big hug for @punkdoc . 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks @Fairygirl and @tuikowhai34. GP has diagnosed me (over the phone) with something called Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo - BPPV. Probably connected with my hearing loss in right ear and maybe a strong right shoulder massage the day before. Came on suddenly overnight a fortnight ago when I turned over in bed - two days before our holiday so very unfortunate timing. GP's going to try an Epley Manoeuvre next week to re-balance the ear. I'm getting used to the loss of balance which is more irritating and frustrating. Just have to be very careful as I have osteoporosis as well.
Interesting about the mountains Fairygirl, I had no idea. We were very impressed with Ben Nevis which we saw about ten years ago.
Lovely photo of Corfe @Chicky, we went to Harlech Castle which was also good.
I have read back but am very tired so ((hugs)) to everyone ... whether they’re needed or not. I’m in bed listening to Start the Week ... Marilynne Robinson, Rowan Williams and Andrew Marr ... fascinating.
Sleep well all 😴
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Learned something new on Only Connect tonight (nothing new about that!) The logo for the Paramount Pictures studio is 22 stars above a mountain called Ben Lomond. My first thought was Ben Lomond doesn't look like that but apparently it is a mountain in Utah in the USA which was named after "our" Ben Lomond. Beechgrove's Jim McColl had it right - every day is a school day.
Sad that someone thinks it’s going to get them the attention they want by behaving badly, jumping up and down and having a tantrum.
Folk exhibiting such attention seeking behaviour ... even negative attention ... are sadly emotionally damaged and need of professional help. Continuing to exhibit such behaviours will compound their problems. Very sad.
