LB, this thunderstorm must be very unpleasant at night. Like T'bird, we also need rain. I noticed that this year we have this huge thunderstorms all over Europe. My greatest fear is hailstorm, mostly because my plants are all on open filed.
Didn't sleep well last night. It's still hot. Maybe work outside will tired my and I'll have a nice rest.
Morning LB, Ante, Island and all to follow. Very dark this morning and still so very hot. Another hot night too, didn't sleep much. LB you woke up when I was probably just nodding off. We didn't have any rain or storms last night, forecast has mentioned we might get them today or in the next two days. Depending on who you listen to we could have a dry day or a wet one 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Poppets coming round today with their mummy, so hoping for a dry day to play in the garden. Have a good day everyone TTFN
Morning Ante and SGL. Ante, I LOVE thunderstorms . I've been wanting a good one for ages and last night it was excellent! Hailstones were mentioned a few days ago but hopefully that danger will have passed and I hope your fields are not afflicted. SGL, I'm sure that whatever happens you will enjoy the company of your daughter and the small people.

Good morning all. We had a brief thunderstorm last night hoping for more as it’s very muggy already and I too love thunder and lightning.
Ante no better way to spend a hot afternoon than drinking and talking with friends. Fingers crossed the hail doesn’t arrive just lots of refreshing rain.
SGL have fun with poppets. I need to sort my hair out may have to risk a new salon as my usual lady is still unwell.
Happy knitting Island I expect the cats will arrive when they are hungry.
Errands this morning then hoping for a lazy afternoon. Fiancé very tired after working in a hot kitchen all week and he has family issues too.

Hazel are you having enough fluids? I think this hot close weather can cause headaches but obviously good hydration is important I know I am guilty of forgetting to drink enough. Then I wonder why I feel rough about mid afternoon. Just a thought, also as I am sure you know all painkillers work better taken with food. Take care
