Hello Chey - good to see you. A bokashi bin is a way of making your own compost AND lovely fertilising liquor. Here is a link:

    Thanks LB!ย

Just got off the phone with the doctor - asked him for some help with my face which has flared up and he has referred me to my dermatologist who will get back to me. No answer on what I should do in the meantime..

AND it's still too warm here.

Oh dear that is a shame. I don't suppose that the heat is helping either if your face is sore. Let's hope that the dermatologist gets back to you soon. Of course it would be the weekend coming up so it will most likely be into next week bfore you hear anything.

Sorry T'Bird, I forgot to answer your question. Yes, my sister and brother-in-law got back from France without having to worry about quarantine and their children who went out after them are all back home too. Some lucky timing there.

I hope they had a nice time LB. Until about 2 weeks ago, were still toying with the idea of taking the motorhome to Germany in September or October but, if you're driving, you have to pass through Spain (l-o-n-g way round!), France or Netherlands.ย

Being in quarantine wouldn't be the end of the world - but it's more hassle than we want to deal with for a short holiday - especially as I know places we want to visit may not be available. German spas haven't been allowed to reopen (we love going to those) and I imagine there are similar problems to the UK with smaller museums etc remaining closed and a pre-booking system for the larger ones. All straightforward to deal with on the internet but it takes the spontaneity out of it all - and that's half the fun!

Chey - sorry to hear your skin problems have flared up again.
