Thank you I'll contact them. The community police officer went to his door to remind him of data protection, and pull him up for not having cctv stickers, and ask him to consider moving the camera at the front, but the neighbour refused to answer the door. The officer then told us it was a civil matter and if the guy isn't willing to open the door to him then there's not much he can do apparently. Since then the neighbour's put a camera at the back facing our garden.
They are definitely real, he has 6 external cameras professionally fitted, with IR and audio up to 5m. But he also has 2 internal cameras which he's plugged in and sat on his windowsils himself, he moves the internal ones to follow us around our garden, these are the most worrying ones, especially as they're not very noticeable. We don't know how long the one at the back was there before we noticed it
A good suggestion, Pansyface. I have just been into the garden to shine a bright torch into two of our cameras and it obliterated the image. Tomorrow I will see how that technique works in daylight.
Just reporting back to say shining my ultra bright torch at the camera in daylight had minimal cancelling effect. I don’t have one of those lighting rigs used by workmen but I doubt that it would work or, if it did, would only annul images within a couple of feet radius of the light source.
