Morning Hazel. That is shocking news about your son's car! As its a new car to him can he get any compensation from the seller? I hope he checks the MOT certificate. Something sounds highly dodgy there. Thank goodness neither he nor any of the family were travelling in it when that happened. That is too scary to think about! You and your OH enjoy your quiet day.

Morning - sunny, warm and dry here after a couple of hours of much needed rain yesterday. Need to cut the grass and chop up some prunings from yesterday then finish getting things ready for MIL who’s coming to stay for a few days.

LB - that beans on toast pic made me snort into my tea! OH always knows when I’ve been watching back-to-back Masterchef - it’s when the chefs’ rings come out of the drawer for serving up curry and rice🥳 Enjoy your rellies visit. OH said it was bucketing down in Cumbria.

Island - forgive my rudeness - don’t think I said a proper Hello to you yet. Island life sounds rather exciting when it involves helicopters. Hope you can rest and relax now you’re home.

Debs - best wishes and fingers crossed for your fiance.

Rosie - hope you got back to sleep - I was only just drifting off at that time.

Hazel - Lovely day with 23🙂 - not good news about the car but I think you must be so relieved it happened on the driveway and not the motorway. Is it new new? or secondhand new?

Right must get on - domestic chores first then the lawnmower!

Gorgeous Rubee - your roses look lovely and healthy.

Beginning to think that I need a yellow rose. Have buff and creamy-apricoty colours but a yellow one would give a real pop in the border. Can feel a visit to the DA website coming on in September...🤔 😁
