LB just read about your sisters journey . What a nightmare . I hope they can relax now and enjoy their holiday .

I'm surprised they didn't just down the bottle after that LB!

    Luco's fourth birthday tomorrow.

It's that horrible misty rain - and my government box delivery was left out in it.

    Wet biscuits anyone?

It has barely stopped raining here today. Most annoying. Chey, how come the delivery person didn't knock on your door to ensure you got the parcel? It could have been taken by anyone. That is very unsatisfactory.

Hi folks,  It's rained all day here, very miserable weather.  I've been to Ashwoods and picked up some seeds, compost, grit and a mahonia caberet.  I wanted to sow some more foxgloves but I couldn't face going outside.  I've also had some clematis netting delivered that I wanted to sort out, but that will have to wait too.  As I'm not now going on holiday I've decided that I might use the money to pay for some local art classes so I've been browsing on the internet.  Think I've found one that starts in September if it works out it should give me something to look forward to in the run up to C****t**s.

Yvie, that sounds like an interesting pursuit. Lets hope that things are back to normal by then. Hazel, don't you just love predictive text?! Your Jackmanii clemmie is lovely.

Our local community center has burnt down...

Wow Chey that's awful.  Anyone said how it started?

Good grief Chey. Its difficult to think of something burning like that after all the rain that has been falling today. The really sad thing is that it was probably a lifeline in the community for various groups and organasations.
    Night, night Hazel.
