Morning Hazel, LB & all to follow. I've been lying awake since 5ish, I feel so very tired, so you must be exhausted Hazel. I'm sure it's got to do with this lockdown. Need a cup of tea.
Good morning everyone - and avery Happy Birthday to Rosie🎂🎂🎂
Off out for lunch today at a highly recommended local foodie pub. Quite a palaver to book a table (including a £20 per head deposit...) so hope it lives up to expectations! Other than that we’ve just been pottering around the area. Weather hasn’t been great but it’s not stopped us doing anything other than swimming in the sea and OH doing a longish bike ride yesterday. The most frustrating thing has been all the places which are closed (museums, big houses, churches etc) - they’re the places I most enjoy visiting.
Went to MIL’s on Tues and took FIL’s ashes to church with the whole family. Vicar conducted a short service and then we all went home for a chippy supper. It was a lovely day and Jack would have loved seeing all his family laughing together and especially watching his (nearly) 2 years old great grandson having great fun being endlessly entertained with a watering can (things got very wet!) and being pushed round the garden in a wheelbarrow.
Dingbats are goodies LB. A few I didn’t get without help from fellow Rezzers but think I solved one the others haven’t got yet -
6. Pot 8 O’s - potatoes!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning Topbird! Hope you have a lovely meal, especially as you've already paid £40 😉 My OH said Potatoes too. Have a lovely day, hope the weather is kind to you. Shame museums etc are closed. But have fun.
