I like these walk in centres and I did check to make sure it was still available in these weird times. I am definitely one for early morning appointments for anything. Then you don't feel as if your day has been stolen.

You just watch, it will be tipping down with rain tomorrow. Not to worry. I think I'm pretty waterproof.

Island - Lovely fuchsia. We had a great holiday in the SW corner of mainland Ireland many years ago. There were fuchsias and hebes growing wild all over the place - totally unfazed by the salt-laden gales blowing in off the Atlantic.

The fuchsias here are actually a wild variety rather than a garden escapee. Totally hardy as they have evolved. My "garden" at the north side where that photo is has merciless northerly gales. I have some potatoes there but planted peas etc in makeshift containers and moved them to the front a month ago.

Was that West Cork? iived there a while. Fell in love with Goleen and Mizen Head, and Beara. The moved up to Kerry... Killarney and the Traditional Farms at Muckross.. Love the West Coast.

Good morning Ladybird4 and happy vampiring..

Sheeting with heavy rain most of the night and flash flood warnings. We were not due to get this; it was an east coast affair.

I left two sheets out so they are getting an extra rinse .

Best of luck with blood tests LB, I am off to work it’s pouring down here. At least I won’t need to water the garden later! Off to visit fiancés family later as it’s his granddaughters 6th birthday. Hope everyone has a good day and stays dry.
Good morning Island hope those sheets are well pegged onto the line it’s blowing a gale here!

Good Morning LB, Island and all to follow,
All the best with your blood tests today LB hope everything goes well,
Island Sounding extremely wild and windy where you are, you must have some industrial pegs for those sheets,
    Enjoy your day everyone.

Well that was very interesting. Definitely a good time to go. Even though I had my umbrella, I got saturated and have had to have a complete change of gear. To add insult, as I was walking back to the car park I stepped on a flag and it was a 'rocker' - 2 litres of water shot out and down my left leg! I'm glad to be home so now I'm going to have my breakfast.
