Hello there Chive, Ante and Ruby. Goodness me Ante, it sounds as though your weather is as dreadful there as it is here, and I'm sorry that you are having internet problems too. When my delivery man arrived the skies opened. Everything including me got saturated. I've had to have a complete change of clothing and dry my hair - with the drier. I felt so sorry for the delivery man. All the bags were wet and any of the contents that needed it have been towel dried too. Now I intend to console myself with a lovely cup of tea.
Debs, your Uncle sounds like a lovely, funny man. I'll bet he enjoyed your company as much as you enjoyed his.

    Afternoon everyone
It's been raining all morning  and we've had a couple of flashes of lighting too.
Sco delivery came about an hour ago......no lettuce or coleslaw 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ very random items not to arrive. But I did get hand sanitizer at last, first time we've managed to   since Lockdown. Only small bottles that I can pop in my bag or pocket and we were only allowed 3.
Debs sounds like you had a lovely time at GC. Love Japanese anemones, I want another for the back.
Hazel, have fun with 23 🤗🤗
    Time for lunch soon.
Take care everyone hope some of you are having good weather.

Morning all,  It appears that we are hogging the nice weather.  It rained overnight.....good for the garden......and is warm with a mixture of sun and cloud......good for pottering.

    Hope you are all well.

Hazel I wish your daughter a speedy recovery from her chest infection.  LB rhubarb crumble would be very nice.  Chive it’s quite warm here now.  Pauline have a good weekend.  Lily our sm shops can be quite random on receipt too.  Debs your anemones sound lovely.
  • Good???morning? Ah . afternoon...Hope all out there are well.. Lack of sleep in hospital caught up with me. Utterly almost unbelievably miserable weather. Deluges noisy on the roof.. cats coming in sodden. The place felt clammy after my time away so unbelievably for JULY I lit the fire.  So a quiet old day. Knitting etc. Bliss...

Hello islandanchoress,  weather here today is awful too.
Still pouring with rain and a bit chilly.
Hazel, so sorry to hear your daughter is poorly, hope she feels better soon.
It's very strange Rosie what items don't get delivered. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Looking out the window it looks like October,  hope summer comes back soon
