    Good Morning Debs & LB,
Debs really good news that the GOV is going to give you and OH some help and lovely to read that little George is finding his feet. No plans for the break. Good luck with all your plans, great to get things done finally,
LB Thats a good idea for buying a water butt, the slimline ones are handy without taking up too much space. Yes the afternoon went well we had a good chat together and it stayed dry thankfully,
Hazel Hope you have a lovely day with your family today,
    Enjoy your day everyone.

Morning . It’s a beautiful sunny day here and I am planning on cutting back some of my hedge. I do an hour at a time . Then I do less taxing jobs .Expecting some plants .I can’t remember the last time I put any posh clothes on .I am constantly in my gardening clothes . I wonder if my nice clothes will still fit? Whatever you are planning today ,enjoy and stay safe .

    Morning everyone
Hi Hazel,  couldn't get on yesterday, tried a few times. Thank you for thinking of me.
We're going to a 'virtual' funeral today. Hoping everything works and we can actually do it.  Very sad we can't actually go, but sounds like very few family are. Government rules etc.
Very cloudy here this morning, think the sun might appear later today.
    Hooe you're all well.
Take care and have a good day everyone

good morning all.  LB it’s good your parcel arrived and the slim water but is a good idea.  Chive I’m glad your afternoon went well and the weather held for you all.  Debs enjoy your trip to the garden centre and good news with young George.  Also good you are getting some help.  Have a good day.

Afties all. SGL, my Bestie went to a funeral last Monday and the Crematorium handled it very sympathetically. Mourners who were outside the actual building had the service relayed to them through loud speakers and at the end, once the family had gone through the back door, those who wished were guided through to pay their last respects and then they went out through the back door too. She said that despite the sadness, it was a very kind and thoughtful service.

Afternoon all. The window fitters have been here to do their survey and finalise plans and now my head hurts - lots of questions and answers.

Lily hope everything goes / went ok with the funeral. We've found that everybody has worked hard to make these events as respectful, dignified and compassionate as possible given the difficult circumstances.

See the over 50's are going to get a flu jab this year. Something else to look forward to then...

Right - need to rehang blinds and put the knick knacks back on the windowsills. SYL.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Managed to watch the funeral on OHs laptop. Very sad as he was such a very good friend to us, especially these last 2 years.  The pews had been taken out of the crematorium apart from the very front ones. The chairs were spread apart....some couples actually put them back side by side so they could sit together. There were probably  around 14 possibly 15 including the lady that did the service, but it was a lovely service and a great eulogy to him. Hopefully there will be a memorial service next year when this is all over.
